I did notice one area where the stairs had a significant amount of duct tape that could use some attention. “My husband, my two daughters and I stayed in 2 rooms for 1 night at the Holiday Inn Express Amherst- Lockport on South Transit. The hotel was clean, staff is friendly, the breakfast was very nice…surprisingly for an Express 2.5 star. The Pool was a bit on the small size but no one was in the water so it was great! “AC was not working. Called the front desk about the problem, and he asks me to wait 10 minutes. After waiting, I walked up to the front desk to complain and he informs that the room was not occupied for a while so the AC would take some time to get started and asks to wait 10 more minutes, which I do.
